In this four hour course, you will learn how to use Revu to organize, navigate and manage changes within large digital document sets throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will learn how to use Revu to keep track of all revisions and create easier accessibility to document sets for all

About this course

After taking the Document Control Course, users will be able to:

  • Automatically generate page labels and bookmarks to better organize a combined document
  • Extract documents for fast and easy access downstream
  • Digitally slip-sheet revised files into the current document set
  • Understand why hyperlinking a drawing set is useful
  • Create hyperlinks and Places from the Links tab
  • Hyperlink a document set using Batch Link
  • Use Compare Documents, Overlay Pages, Batch Compare and Batch Overlay to detect changes between documents
  • Explain the differences between a Set and a multi-page PDF document
  • Set up and manage Sets to automatically recognize drawing revisions
  • Publish a Set as a project deliverable and share with team members via Studio Projects

Course Audience:

This course is designed for users with some experience in Revu who work with PDF documents in the architecture, engineering and construction industries.

Course Format:

The course is self-paced with online content delivered via PowerPoint, step-by-step video tutorials, learning exercises, quizzes and case studies. You will have one year to complete the course.

A certificate of completion will be awarded upon successful completion.
