In this three hour course, you will learn how to use Revu to efficiently perform takeoff and estimation tasks. You’ll learn to use Revu’s built-in measurement tools and create your own to do detailed takeoffs. You’ll also find out how the Markups List can help make estimation much easier. You will s
After completing the Takeoffs and Estimations Course, users will be able to:
- Apply the Takeoff Profile to Revu
- Calibrate a document to the correct scale for measurements
- Utilize measurement tools in takeoff workflows
- Create custom tools for use in your own takeoffs workflows
- Add Markup Legends to your documents to convey information on your markups
- Explore how the Markups List tracks all of your markup data for you
- Create custom columns to calculate material and labor costs
- Export markup information from the Markups List into reports or Excel
- Apply concepts from industry-specific takeoff and estimation workflows in your own workflows
Course Audience:
This course is designed for users with some experience in Revu who are responsible for takeoff and estimation workflows in the architecture, engineering and construction industries.
Course Format:
The course is self-paced with online content, including step-by-step video tutorials, learning exercises, quizzes and case studies. You will have one year to complete the course.
A certificate of completion will be awarded upon successful completion.
